It was a very sunny day and I was walking down the dirt road when I saw my uncle on a camal. He asked me if I would like to join him in his caravan through the dessert. My uncle told me I would first have to ask my parent if I could go. Well they told me it was my decision as I expected they would say. Well it was hard to make a decision. I mean I like the hot weather in the summer but I didn`t think I would acctually survive out there. All I told them was that I needed more time to think about it. They understood what I was trying to say.
The day my uncle was leaving to the dessert I made my decision to tag along with them.My uncle was happy to have me join him. It was extremely hot in the dessert but I still had a great time with my uncle in the dessert. He thought so too. but I did have a great time with him in the dessert. It was a little hot. Oh who am I kidding it was extremely hot but I didn`t care.
Last Friday, in my classroom we had a simulation about the fall of Rome and I was just wondering. If I could of had a different role in the simulation I would pick being a Roman. And encase your wondering what a simulation is it`s when you pretend to go to the past as if you were in the past. Well we did a simulation of when the Romans were the biggest empire in the world. If I could of chose what role I could of been in I would choose to be a Roman. Because the Romans were so rich and so well protected. Not exactly 100 percent protected after the Barbarians attacked there lovely city.
Back then when the Romans were the biggest empire on earth they were very rich as you already know. But they were also very greedy.Just as people are today.Still I would love to be one of the Romans. Mostly they didn`t get to do anything which was so not fair.
September is a day no one will ever forget. My teachers and my mom had different stories about what they did on that day. My English teacher told me her story. She told me what she was doing at that exact moment when she started. Her story started off in the morning when she was listing to the news. Mrs.Baird my English teacher, said that she was a elementary teacher when that happened. I also asked my mom what was her experience about September 11th. Everyone has a different view of how terrible that day was. Even though I wasn`t exactly knowing what was going on I still think that was a very, very terrible day for me and everyone else.
Who I think is going to be the president is maybe Obama. He is definetely going to win the election. When I was in third grade I watched when they introduced Obama to I was amased to see the very first African american to be president. He has done so much to this country that I think he is going to win. Last night I was watching Obama`s wife talking about how great Obama is and that he should be voted for president. And how he works so hard every night to help people from what they are going through. He is a very great guy you should vote for him. I hope you vote for him he sounds and is a great guy. I think he is going to make a big difference iv this country and he already has. If my mom was able to vote I would beg her to vote for him. Actually I don`t have to beg her she would also like to have Obama to be president.
Guess what today is its core concentration day. Today I will be writing about Muhammad. Well Muhammad is a person who lived in Mecca. He grew up being very religious. Then one day He was praying in a cave and an angel came and told him to recite. He immediately told his wife what had happened. She instead of thinking her husband was crazy she encouraged him to tell people that he was chosen to hear what the angel tells him. But some of the rich Arabians did`t agree with Muhammad. One day they kicked out of town. Muhammad left with his family to a place called Medina. Medina is a town named after Muhammad. But as he left his religion grew stronger. He came back to Mecca one day because the people gave up trying to keep him out of town.
